Herefordshire residents in Aconbury, Much Birch, Little Birch, Llanwarne and St Weonards, and Sandyway called for help as traffic gets heavier and faster. Green Party councillor Toni Fagan worked with parish councils to make roads safer. Wins include:
- Getting Herefordshire Council to agree to road safety signage warning motorists of pedestrians.
- Getting West Mercia Police to enforce speed limits.
One resident wrote: ‘Fabulous news! Thank you so much for your help.’
In St Weonards, Toni is working with the parish council to ensure that S106 funds from the new development will support residents’ desire for improved safety on the A466 by summer 2025.

Meanwhile in Bishops Frome and Cradley Ward newly elected councillor Rebecca Tully has already started working with residents on road safety, including increased signage in Storridge to reduce speed.
