In a late change to the advertised schedule, we will be looking briefly at the history of political parties in the UK, and evaluating their current positions. We will then look at the pros and cons of different strategies for advancing what we loosely call ‘progressive’ politiics, at both national and local level, before imagining what could happen to our current political parties if PR were introduced. All welcome – drinks from 7pm and we will start at 7.30pm.
